PADLET!

 

    Welcome my cheerful friends. Let me introduce you my duty for this week. 

    We created some groups and with that groups we made a padlet page! Our teacher gave us some subjects and we chose “Bullying at Schools”. It was beneficial for me because I am a student too and I must have basic knowladge about this subject. I have learned new points and I realized that in my high school years I was a bystander and I may even bullied my peers on some occasions. On the other hand, if we are going to talk about padlet, I can say that it wasn’t funny for me like the book review. Because the website is a little bit of confusing for me. At first, we couldn’t even join the padlet. After we managed it, we had a problem about how we can make appear our names under/on our writings and at last we couldn’t put our writings in an order. Background and colors are so beautiful but it’s really hard to get at least until you learn how to use padlet. Also, I am a person who really likes designing and specializing but in padlet I couldn’t do that as I want to.

    To sum up, padlet duty was beneficial but not enjoyable for me.

 No word needed, eh? Well, it was rough, I'll be honest but also it was beautiful. The most beautiful part of this course was that it made me go out of my comfort zone. I've learned many things and I feel a little more confident about technology. Also, we dealt with the hardships together with my best friend and that is another great side of this course. I want to thank to my dear friend Gülsüm. I'm proud of us since we are both not good at technology. This is a big success for us. If we want to talk about assigments, I accept that they are good to learn but there is also a negative side for me: they really called for facility. For example, while we were making our 3D images, Assemblr was heavy for our computer and we couldn't even upload some images we found. My partner waited for 3 hours just to sign in to the app. Powtoon was also the same. I had to reopen my computer sometimes because it stopped working. a grammar teaching video for flipped classroom

🍙 Welcome! 🍙  Today I won't present you something you don't know (if you read my last post) but a different version of it. There is a small difference.     Last week, I have told you about what a flipped classroom is. It is an approach to the classroom environment in which w e use some tools such as videos, slides before the class to prepare students for the lesson, than give them the chance to learn themselves. Roughly, we only prepare our students but they learn themselves. Last week we made a vocabulary teaching video for the middle school students. This time we have created a grammar teaching video for high school prep clasroom.     While making our video, we used  Powtoon as our tool again. Because as I understood, learning how to use a website is harder than creating a video. So we continued with a tool we already knew. My First Wikiing Experience: Bookreview

Hellooo! I wasn't here last week so I thought that we should make a cheerfull entry because we are cheerful people right?     This week I made my first wiki page. I was supposed to choose a book that I like and talk about it on my page. I chose a psychological drama which is called "Story of a Downfall" by Stefan Zweig. For me, writing a book review wasn't that hard. On the contrary it was fun. I really loved wiki because I can see my classmates' recommendations. I think I am going to read all of them. Also it has a basic design so it was so easy to understand. I haven't faced any hardness. I think I am going to use wiki with my students in the future since it's a good way to make them know their classmates better.
