My First Wikiing Experience: Bookreview

Image
Hellooo! I wasn't here last week so I thought that we should make a cheerfull entry because we are cheerful people right?     This week I made my first wiki page. I was supposed to choose a book that I like and talk about it on my page. I chose a psychological drama which is called "Story of a Downfall" by Stefan Zweig. For me, writing a book review wasn't that hard. On the contrary it was fun. I really loved wiki because I can see my classmates' recommendations. I think I am going to read all of them. Also it has a basic design so it was so easy to understand. I haven't faced any hardness. I think I am going to use wiki with my students in the future since it's a good way to make them know their classmates better. I think it will be useful to getting my students close with themselves.     In case you want to take a look at my book review, there is my wiki page here; Story of a Downfall Author: Stefan Zweig Genre: Pshychological Drama The Number of Pages:

My Simple Idea To Change the World

Hello to everyone! Welcome to my new post. In this post, you gonna witness another thing I am really amateur at: my first podcast in my life.      Since I am using this blog for my educational technologies class, our teacher gave us an assignment for this week and that is it. In my podcast, I will be talking about what I would like to change about the world and how I would personally contribute to that change. Gamze Şanlı · Changing The World     Making a podcast was a little bit of hard for me. Because I am not a talkative person and I don't like to listen my voice either. I was  stressed at first. But I should get over that, I know. So, maybe that assignment is a step to achieve this right? After making it I was satisfied for making a tool that I have some obsessions and at that time, I began to see the enjoyable parts of it. You can make it funny or calming with adding sounds, you can make jokes - I couldn't do that of course 😕- Also it is a good alternative for usin

21st Century Learning

Technology comes with so many facilites and because of that reason we adapt it to our life without hesitation. In the century that we live in, technology has a big place so it's obvious that we should adapt it to education which is a part of our life.     Technology helps us so  many different ways in education. It makes easier to practising. For example, in language we can find native people to talk. In addition to that, people used to spent so much time to get an information about a subject but now, it's free for taking on internet! Also, in that century, probably your students will be the people who use technology in their daily life more than you do and you should catch up them to be effective in class. However, there won't be any benefit if you don't know how to use technology. Therefore, firstly be sure you know how to teach with education.     Use benefits of techology, learn with technology. Look at it as a necessity. You will not regret.
